The speaker will discuss what Technology Conservation Group is, what they do, why they do it, and how it helps the environment. Current estimates show this company employs a staff of approximately 50 to 99 in their local facility.
In a nutshell, Technology Conservation Group is an ISO 14001:2004 multi-site certified electronics recycling and asset management company with three facilities in North America (one of these is in Lecanto), two in Mexico and one in Brazil, England and Israel. They provide end-of-life electronics management services - from evaluation and transportation to processing and final disposition including remarketing, reusing or total destruction. They are members of NAID (National Association of Information Destruction) and follow the recommended best practices from NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology) for information destruction/media sanitization, which are the required procedures for all government agencies.
